SUMMARY:Solace House Sunrise Walk - 2023
DESCRIPTION:As most of you know Solace House provides free\, confidential therapeutic counseling for anyone who is experiencing suicidal thoughts or is in suicidal distress\, as well as those who engage in self harm\, or have been bereaved by suicide. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year which helps provide all this vital support. They have walks/runs in LIC Queens along the waterfront overlooking the Manhattan skyline\, they also have walks in the Bronx\, Rockland County and the Catskills. \nYou can purchase tickets for the walk by clicking HERE\, or if you can’t make the walk you can make a donation. \nFor the past 3 years the Emerald Guild has been one of their T-Shirt sponsors so it would be nice to have some Emerald members there in attendance to show support. DESCRIPTION:The parade committee has confirmed that we will be marching at the same time and same meet up spot as last year. See attached last year’s notice which has all the same details. Our time of march is 2pm however last year they put us out on the avenue at about 1:45pm and a lot of our members didn’t get to march because of this.
