Founded in 1992

Founded in 1992, the Emerald Guild Society gave lasting structure to an existing network of Irish superintendents in New York City.

Its world is the working life of residential buildings: superintendents, resident managers, managing agents, vendors, contractors, and the offices around them. Leadership, committees, parade tradition, scholarships, and practical programs keep that institutional life active.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

A public tradition carried with honor.

Each March, the parade gives the Guild one of its clearest public expressions of heritage, continuity, and presence in New York.

Handled with dignity, it ties heritage to public recognition and gives the Guild a visible place in the life of the city year after year.
